Frequently asked questions

If someone sent me an email outside the university, did they receive an error message? Will their email arrive, or should I ask them to resend it?

We cannot assume that everyone received an error message. To be on the safe side, it may be a good idea to contact those who you think may have sent you an email yesterday.

I carelessly read the box that popped up in Outlook and accidentally deleted my entire account with the press of a button. What should I do?

Only your local account has disappeared. First, try restarting your computer. If the account has not returned, contact Servicedesk at servicedesk [at] lu [dot] se (servicedesk[at]lu[dot]se).

I tried to send an email to a colleague, but got a ‘Undeliverable’ response. Did it still get through?

No, you will have to resend it.
