Lund University and International Citizen Hub Lund (ICHL) have signed a new three-year agreement which enhances work on attracting and retaining international expertise in Lund.

The University’s new agreement with ICHL applies until the end of December 2027 and entails closer collaboration.

“Together, we can do more to help international staff and students thrive in Lund and want to stay here. This is an important piece of the puzzle in the work to ensure the provision of expertise in the region,” says HR specialist Karin Pihl.

International Citizen Hub Lund helps international staff and their families with communication, coordination and contacts regarding Sweden’s various public authorities, local associations, education institutions and the private sector. They also organise activities and offer a welcoming environment for meeting others who are also new to Sweden. The aim is to attract specialised expertise, retain it in the region and ensure that this group feels at home here.
