The Main University Building will open its doors at the start of the semester, between the 28 August and 5 September.

You are welcome to visit the Main University Building on the following dates in August and September. Visitors can view the atrium, Main Auditorium, Pillared Hall and Consistory Room.

28 August 11:00-18:00

29 August 11:00-18:00

1 September 11:00-18:00

4 September 11:00-18:00

5 September 11:00-18:00

The Main University Building awaits renovation

The Main University Building, completed in 1882, is now in need of renovation.

Extensive internal renovation work on the building will focus on aspects such as improving technical systems, creating a good indoor climate and optimising accessibility.

In 2025, the Main University Building will be open to visitors on special occasions such as ceremonies and concerts.

The Main University Building will close for renovation in 2026 and is expected to open again in 2030.
