Apply for funds from the Trelleborg Competence Development Fund

Trelleborg Municipality annually allocates funds to relevant collaboration, development and research projects connected with Lund University. The aim is to stimulate collaboration and innovation.

The Municipality has allocated SEK 1 million for 2025. Projects and research focusing on sustainable urban development that takes into account social, economic and environmental sustainability will be prioritised in this call for applications. The funds will be divided between one to four projects. 

Applications are to be submitted by 16:00 on 7 March.

General criteria for proposed projects 

To be granted funds from the Trelleborg Competence Development Fund (Kompetensfonden Trelleborg), a project is to create long-term conditions for the establishment of academic education or the development of knowledge-intensive projects and activities in Trelleborg and the surrounding area.

Co-funding requirement

Proposed projects must be co-funded (25 per cent). The project’s funding may come from the project owner or from another stakeholder in the public and/or private sector.
