The University received 34,800 applications to study in spring 2025

The first admission decision for the spring semester has been sent out, and more than 13,500 applicants have been offered a place at the University. The most popular programmes with the highest admission scores include the Medical, Psychology and Law programmes.

For the spring semester 2025, there have been more than 34,800 applications for a course or programme at Lund University. After the first selection, 13,542 applicants have been admitted, including 1,675 to programmes and 12,057 to courses.

The most popular programmes at Lund University that required the highest admission scores after the first selection are the Medical (21.82), Psychology (21.67) and Law (21.46) programmes in selection group BI, upper secondary school grades without supplementation. 

All those who have been admitted or are on the waiting list have until 16 December to respond to their decision. The second selection will be published on 19 December when those on the waiting list will be informed if they have been offered a place.
