This means that Lund University is bound for at least four years, but can use Canvas until 2036. The agreement also includes the video tool Canvas Studio.
The agreement for Inspera, which is used for digital exams, has also been extended for four years. This means that both teachers and students can continue to use the tool until September 2028. Inspera facilitates marking and contributes to a safer exam environment. At the same time, preparations are underway for a new procurement process for future needs.
Canvas is used by 32 higher education institutions in Sweden, and many students and teachers move between different universities. This makes Canvas a familiar tool, which makes it easier for everyone. We in Canva's management group are also working to develop the platform with new features and are active in the national network and collaboration with Instructure. Integrating new systems into Canvas is easy, but there are challenges such as financing, management, support and complying with legislation.
