Knowledge for Sustainable Development is an annual research conference, aimed at all researchers at Lund University who want to increase their knowledge about the challenges that lie ahead, how their research can contribute to change, and strengthen their contacts with researchers from other disciplines.

This year, we are pleased to coordinate together with University of Cambridge to further broaden the scientific horizons and to encourage new collaboration across the universities.

With this year’s title of Breaking barriers to climate solutions, the conference aim to raise currently existing solutions and how to find new connections in unexpected areas. The focus on this conference is not to fill it with scientific presentations but rather through common roundtable discussions and dialogue explore how scientific themes can be developed through new ideas, results and visions for the future.

The conference will take place on site at AF-borgen in Lund, but it is also possible to join online. The conference is organized by the Research Board in collaboration with the Sustainability Forum at Lund University and Cambridge Zero at University of Cambridge.
