New for this year’s call, in addition to focusing on the intersection between research and collaboration, is the opening up for applications that include teaching in some form. This does not have to be a full study programme; shorter courses or modules more focused on lifelong learning are also welcome.
An information meeting was held on 1 June and there was a great show of interest in this application round. Many say that combining research, teaching and collaboration leads to new development opportunities.
Investments in so-called “complete environments” are exciting and with so much expertise available at the University, I look forward to taking a look at the applications!
Thematic collaboration initiatives are a unique type of project at Lund University, making it possible to “co-create” new knowledge. The requirements are that joint applications are made by researchers/teaching staff from at least three of the University’s faculties and at least one external collaborator.
This round will be open to up to four thematic collaborative initiatives, which, if funded, will each be allocated SEK 1 million per year over three years, starting on 1 January 2023. The deadline for applications is 23 September.
We look forward to your application!
