Becoming a lighthouse for sustainable transformation
Explore the correlation between the lighthouse mindset and catalytic leadership in a presentation by Dr. Aishwarya Joshi, founder of the Lighthouse Cohort followed by academic commentary and Q&A. Dr.Joshi will be sharing her approach for sustainable transitions, learnings and true-to-life experiences in grassroots initiatives. Senior Lecturer and academically responsible for the Change Maker Future Track, Stein Kleppestø, will give the academic commentary.

Guest speaker Dr. Aishwaria Joshi
Dr. Joshi is an Architect, Social Sustainability expert, Social Impact Auditor, celebrated Humanitarian and recipient of many accolades. She has pursued a long career as a construction architect before specializing into designing cohorts for sustainable communities. The consistent success of her "out of the box" cohort solutions span across Middle East, Asia and Africa. Her initiatives ride on the strength of real human stories and unique partnerships in uncertain times. She effectively supports corporations, governments, educational institutions, individuals and non-profits in their efforts to drive value in the arenas of peacebuilding, reimagining education, healthcare and livelihoods. Her presentation in the How to be a Change Maker series will be built around practical examples from her working life.
LUSEM academic comment by Stein Kleppestø
Senior Lecturer in Strategy at LUSEM, Stein Kleppestø is academically responsible for the Change Maker Future Track and will provide valuable insights into the subject.
His research projects revolve around themes like defining the concept of strategic thinking, methods for measuring individual ability and improving it and strengthening innovative capacity. He is also a well renowned and highly appreciated teacher in strategy, organization and leadership.
