Results and follow-up

In line with the Lund University Strategic Plan, we strive for the highest quality of education, with learning environments that are characterised by both teaching and research, excellent study environment and good learning support.

Education and quality dialogues

By following up on the quality assurance work and its results we can obtain information on how the work we put in actually increases the quality of education based on our criteria.

The follow-up includes quality dialogues, in which the results of quality assurance work on the courses and study programmes are discussed in a structured conversation. The dialogues are held between the University Management and faculty managements, as well as within the faculties.

The student representatives are always invited to participate in the discussions.

Course evaluations and course evaluation reports

Another form of follow-up is the course evaluations and course evaluation reports that are carried out for the individual courses and study programmes, in which student views on the quality of education are in focus. Training in teaching and learning in higher education is also followed up.

Student barometer survey and other investigations

Lund University carries out different evaluations, investigations and studies that contribute empirical evidence for the systematic quality assurance work. The results often lead to measures taken by, for example, the Education Board or the faculties.
