Meet teaching staff who have engaged in commissioned education
A large number of researchers and teaching staff at Lund University have over the years taken the opportunity to share their knowledge with the community through commissioned education. Meet some of them here!
Johan Bergström, senior lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering (LTH)
Johan Bergström is programme manager for the Master's programme "Human Factors and Systems Safety" and is passionate about the exchange he has with the professional participants. "The knowledge I gain is just as extensive as the knowledge I convey.”
Alma Orucevic-Alagic, lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering (LTH)
Alma Orucevic-Alagic spent two years teaching a commissioned education course for newly arrived academics with an interest in programming. Along the way she has learned a lot of new things, not least about herself and her way of teaching.
Jan Astermark, Professor of Clinical Coagulation Medicine
Jan Astermark’s research focuses on haemophilia and how treatment can be optimised for haemophilia patients. Having the opportunity via commissioned education to pass on the latest research findings to other regions of the world is something he finds very rewarding. “I get the opportunity to expand my outlook”.
