Drop-in: Learn more about what it means to be new in Sweden

Drop-in for new international staff and for HR functions.
Take the opportunity to ask questions about migration, registration, coordination number, declaration, social insurance, salary, pension, child and school activities — and a lot more.
Take the opportunity to meet these actors:
Erik Kvist, international Coordinator at Lund University who works with migration law at the External relations Division. He guides HR and employees through the migration framework and will answer questions regarding residence permit extensions and how different kinds of residence permits relate to different kinds of work positions.
Karin Fälth, HR specialist at the HR Division at Lund University who works with general questions at the university regarding international staff, such as introduction, policy work, keeping track regarding updates in relevant legislation, contact with different government agencies.
Yvonne Dannapfel Eriksson and Malin Dagsberg at the Finance Division at Lund University who will show you how to register a bank account for salary payment and inform you about what happens if you don’t register your bank account..
International Citizen Hub Lund which is your home away from home in southern Sweden. The Hub provides helpful information to international employees and their families, arrange relevant activities, and offer a warm environment in which to meet.
The National Government Service Centre (SSC). At the SSC offices private individuals and companies receive help in matters related to the services of the Employment Agency, the Swedish Social Insurance, the Pensions Agency and the Tax Agency. A large part of SSC`s work involves helping costumers to use e-services and to find information on the web.
Civic Center, Lund Municipality which will answer your questions regarding preschool, school, culture and leisure, social services, disability support.
Iwona Tattersall and Matilda Frisk from Alfa Mobility who will answer questions regarding Immigration, Destination, and Move services.
