The inauguration ceremony for new professors

Twenty-six new professors will be inaugurated at a ceremony in the Main University Building at 16:00.

The University’s new professors are inaugurated by the vice-chancellor. In connection with the inauguration, one of the new professors, Mia Liinason, will hold a short popular science lecture. The president of the Lund University Students’ Unions, Emmy Svensson, will deliver the students’ speech to the newly inaugurated professors and Professor Jonas Johansson will give the response speech.

Open event, no pre-registration required.

The ceremony will be held in Swedish.
