Lunch seminar: Recycling will not solve the plastic crisis

Recycling is often presented as one of the most important solutions to the plastic problem. But most plastics can only be recycled a few times, and the largest proportion of all plastics produced are never recycled. At the same time, global plastic use is increasing: today around 390 million tonnes of plastic are produced yearly.
