Description

HUMINFRA is a national infrastructure for research in the Humanities and Social sciences, funded by the Swedish Research Council. HUMINFRA is led by Lund University Humanities Lab and consists of 12 universities and organisations across Sweden with expertise in e-scientific / digital materials, research tools and experimental methods for the Humanities. HUMINFRA aims to (1) create a web-based information platform that compiles and links to existing Swedish data collections, tools, expertise and educational opportunities; (2) create new national courses in e-science / digital methods for the humanities; (3) prepare Swedish membership in the European Consortium for Cultural Heritage Data, The Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities (DARIAH-EU); and (4) disseminate knowledge about these methods and tools to researchers and other stake holders and create new opportunities for collaborations.
