University to have more modern parking machines
Eleven older pay and display parking machines, spread across the University parking areas, are being replaced. The new machines are cash and paperless and you can pay by card (Visa, Mastercard and fuel card), Samsung Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
The machines do not print parking tickets; instead you register the car’s registration number in the machine before you pay. This is good not just for the environment but also for drivers who will no longer have lots of old parking tickets in their cars.
The new parking machines fulfil the banks’ latest security requirements for electronic payments. If you require a purchase receipt, you can receive it via email or sms. You can also log in and register at https://waytopark.com/se (new window), to see all your parking purchases and download/print receipts.
The Parksters app works as usual to pay for parking in the University parking areas.
If you have any questions concerning the new parking machines, please contact the Parking Office, 046-222 70 96 or parkering [at] service [dot] lu [dot] se
