Updated vice-chancellor’s decision on 12 May regarding covid-19

It should be possible to plan the 2021 autumn semester based on some reversion, provided that the infection rate allows it. Teaching and assessment are to continue to be conducted digitally with no physical presence on the University’s premises, up to and including 29 August 2021.
The University has also decided that all staff members are entitled to get vaccinated against Covid-19 during paid working hour.

The updated vice-chancellor’s decision on 12 May states that teaching and assessment are to continue to be conducted digitally with no physical presence on the University’s premises according to the conditions referred to in the decision, up to and including 29 August 2021.

It should be possible to plan the 2021 autumn semester on teaching and assessment being conducted both digitally and on the University’s premises, provided that the relevant public authorities’ regulations and recommendations allow it.

For activities besides education, the University will adapt its decision as soon as possible with reference to regulations and recommendations from the public authorities responsible and the current rate of infection. Employees who do not need to be at the workplace to maintain necessary activities should continue to work from home.

Vaccination against Covid-19

The University has decided that all staff members at Lund University who choose to get vaccinated against Covid-19 are entitled to do so during paid working hours. However, staff members are primarily to try to arrange vaccination appointments outside working hours. It is the health region Skåne that is responsible for vaccination. You do not have to pay for vaccination against COVID-19.
It is up to you to decide whether to get the vaccine.

If you are eligible for vaccination in accordance to Region Skånes vaccine process, you'll probably get a notification from your health care centre with further instructions. If you're not (yet) connected to a health care centre and/or don't have a Swedish personal identity number or an e-ID (Bank-ID), please call 113 13 and enquire what applies in your case.
