International collaborations – support and tools for dynamic, responsible and sustainable engagement

A picture of the continents.

As part of the work on the Platform for strategic work 2023–24, support and tools have been developed for international collaborations.

There are now roadmaps that give a picture of the university's involvement in different geographical areas. The roadmaps contain priorities for university-wide international work regarding research, education, collaboration and innovation.

To manage risks in international collaborations, a checklist has been developed, among other things. A globally responsible commitment means that the University, through international collaborations, promotes academic freedom and global development, and respects human rights.

Global sustainable engagement at LU means designing, implementing and evaluating inclusive, fair and environmentally friendly internationalisation strategies and tools to meet the University's vision, goals and strategies. New digital forms of education enable intercultural exchanges at home.
