Professor Anette Agardh was selected as the project leader. Almost five years have passed and what has happened since then? The first report of the Tellus project stated, among other things, that we needed to gather and increase support to our operations. It also emerged that we need to make clear how the University deals with complaints, see the report.
Today, a special university-wide support team is in place and each faculty has an appointed coordinator whose task is to work on preventing discrimination and harassment.

Another important finding from Tellus is that sexual harassment of students mainly occurs in social settings. This means that we should collaborate more with the student organisations. We are currently planning a joint initiative focusing on student life and I will come back to this later.
Tellus will continue to provide evidence-based suggestions on how we can best work to address or prevent sexual harassment, and I look forward to more suggestions for improvement in the near future.
We are developing systematic preventive work against discrimination
An important part of being able to analyse risks and even follow up on measures involves identifying which variables or indicators are important to focus on. A project is currently underway to identify which indicators could be relevant. I hope to be able to present a proposal later this spring.
