During the pandemic, Lund University’s Cultural and Public Centres have been valuable assets for the University’s staff and students as well as the general public by providing vital outdoor environments, digital tours and performances.
Since 2018, Lund University has had a strategy for cultural collaboration, and the working group for the implementation is now presenting the seminar series “Conversations on the arts and science”. The series is aimed at all subject areas and parts of the University, and is one of several forthcoming initiatives that will develop and improve the visibility of the cultural centres within LU. Today, 29 September, Professor Jonna Bornemark will be in conversation with the dean of the Faculties of Humanities and Theology, Johannes Persson, but there will be more of these events during the autumn. The next conversation is entitled “Nanocosmic Investigations” and involves both ESS and art! It promises to be an exciting autumn.
