Today, we face challenges in dealing with a rapid influx of issues that often cross organisational boundaries. There is no organisation that can solve all such issues, but we can strive for one that is better equipped than we are today. The organisational review will last until June when the investigator will submit a proposal for organisational change.
Representatives of the “users” of our support services as well as those of us who provide it will be consulted. The proposal submitted must be cost-neutral, i.e. there is no financial savings requirement.
The idea is to enable us to work smarter, and by making better use of our existing resources, we can provide even better and effective support. The work is being led by Assistant University Director Karin Ekborg-Persson who in turn is being supported by different colleagues and experts. An international perspective in the inquiry is essential to ensure that we have a modern, stable organisation that can best support a world-class global university.
